Calendar Changes for Season 28

Calendar Changes for Season 28

With the new season coming up you'll see that some Season Series calendars have been updated. We tried to make them more realistic so we hope you will enjoy the change. Find out which ones!

As you may have heard, a team of MRC Track Developers was put together in order to speed up the addition of new tracks to the game. This was fairly recent and we are still adjusting and improving things. A by-product of us asking you for new tracks were also suggestions to update certain Season Series calendars. Some of those suggestions have made it to season 28:

The following series were updated to reflect their real 2018 calendars:

-F1: Added Paul Ricard and Hockenheim, Sepang leaves. That means we will have 21 races per season with super week 5 of the season with 3 races.
-Indy: Added Road America, Gateway and Portland in place of NOLA, Fontana and Milwaukee.
-DTWS: Added Hungaroring, Brands Hatch and Misano in place of Moscow and Oschersleben.
-NASC Canada: Added Edmonton, Riverside and New Hampshire in place of Delaware, ICAR and St-Pie.

The following series were updated only partially to reflect real 2018 calendars and/or were suggested by fellow managers:

-FE: replaced Mexico with the real Mexico ePrix track.
-TCR Benelux: replaced Chimay with Mettet.
-World GT: Complete calendar overhaul suggested by a group of managers to better reflect current GT racing.
-NASC Mexico: Some changes to it, including adding new track Chiapas.
-F3 Finland: updated to include manager suggestions.

Unfortunately we couldn't include all of your suggestions in time for season 28. As we said, the team is still in its early days, and that doesn't mean we are not listening to you, it's simply that sometimes we run out of time as real life gets in the way ;)
However, the track team will work hard in order to have all those changes ready for season 29, which include but are not limited to:

-NASC Gold: Calendar update and adding Watkins Glen Short and the Charlotte roval.
-FE: Calendar update and addition of many new tracks.
-Supercars: Calendar update and adding The Bend and Druitt.
-More new tracks and updates to various series.

We hope you enjoy the new calendars and as always, we're ready to hear your suggestions. It's also our idea to have future changes in place before the last week of the season, so you can choose better your desired next Season Series.
