Tesla Fan Championship - Season 9

The 9th edition of the “Tesla Fan Championship” has just ended.

This championship was more competitive as it was not only open to Tesla fans.

Again excellent performance by Mauricio Cruz with his second title! He dominated the championship again with 6 poles!

As mentioned, Mauricio Cruz won the championship (5 wins and 9 podiums), Vasco Guerra 2nd (1 win and 8 podiums), Nádia Portocarrero finished 3rd (2 wins and 5 podiums) and Matvey Sobolev in 4th (2 wins and 6 podiums). Behind came Filipe Campolargo (1 podium), in 6th place came Manuel Vicente (1 podium) and Jonas Jonassen ended in 7th place. In 8th place came Julianna Risko, just ahead of the surprising Noé Nogueira. Huguinho Silva closed the top 10.

Even though Mauricio won the championship, Nádia Portocarrero continues in her position as the most successful driver at Tesla-FC, she leads with 3828 points, 30 wins, 69 podiums, 82 top 5, 85 top 10, 30 poles and 28 fastest laps.

The under-23 the title was extremely close!! With Noé Nogueira getting the needed win in the last race to secure the title! This was due to Yolanda Carrapatelo having an accident when trying to overtake an opponent in the last race.

It is the 1st title for Noé. The under-23 legend continues to be Tomás Gois Rocha with 3 titles. The 2nd place went to Yolanda Carrapatelo who ended up with 4 wins and 7 races on the podium. Cupertino Jarbas finished in 3rd place, with 1 win and 7 podiums. Close behind came Adam Balaz with 1 win and 5 podiums. In 5th place came Ricardo Trincao V with 3 podiums. Just ahead of Emil Markussen with 1 podium. In 7th place came Enzo Tomasello, in 8th place Kilanji Aeon and Bruno Costa II in 9th place. Alex Clark closed the top 10.

In the under-23 hall of fame, Felipe Campolargo continues to be the driver with the most points scored (2730), the most wins (26), the most podiums (45), the most top 5 (56) and the most fastest laps (34). Tomas Gois Rocha is still the driver with the most top 10 (59) and most titles (3).

In the under-23 who will win next season? Yolanda the 2nd title? Or Noé? Or another driver? In the main class, will Mauricio get the 3rd title or will Nádia Portocarrero or another driver manage to surprise him?

As promised again, this season Tesla has again managed to get a sponsor that will distribute 100 coins among the top 5 of the under-23 classification. So here is the distribution:
