First phase of development completed

Williams F1 Team has completed the first phase of development. In the first phase we concentrated on chassis, KERS and cooling. This development phase was the longest one for this season and in total we spent 4 weeks for development. The results we still keep inside the team due to tactical reasons.

The second development phase will be about diffuser, side pods and vanes. This phase will go on for 11 days. Taking into account the tough economical situation of the team, budgeting is really hard and depressing. We do not have money nor too much time. Despite the difficulties, we believe that Williams will surprise everyone with its performance.

The driver canditates are clear. We have three candidates out of which one will surely drive for us during the first season. The two other candidates are still in the evaluating process.

We would still like to remind you about the voting points. We’ve been catching up nicely, but we should improve our pace a little bit. At the moment Williams has 2086 points, Jordan has 2983 points and Odissea has 3076 points. Behind us the most dangerous competitor is Ferrari with 1558 points. We still have chances to everything!
