Vanderpuije says Muzzio is the man to beat

With the season at the half way point, clear title contenders for the Rookie series are emerging. Sergio Muzzio sits atop the standings with a 34 point gap to second place Dávid Teleki and 59 points ahead of third placed Imperius Vanderpuije. Muzzio has taken a mightly impressive 7 wins this season and is going to be looking to add to his tally starting on pole for the next Rookie race. Imperius sits at 4 wins having been comfortably beaten to the chequered flag twice by Muzzio in the last two races.

"There are a lot of good driver out there, but as of now Sergio is who I consider my main rival. The guy is fast! Twice I've sat on the front row with him in qualifying now with him beating me by under 0.1 seconds. He won the last two grand prix's as well, so I'll have to return the favour! He's got a nice lead right now, so it's going to take a lot of work if I want to catch him in the second half of the season."
