As the field of Private cars took to the Ain-Diab track this morning. Young Brit Ray Striver could not have foreseen the manic race that would unfold.

During the course of the race, Striver was involved in not one, or two, but FOUR incidents culminating in a total of 113% damage to his McLaren MP4. Essentially carrying a rollcage over the line by foot in 14th place having discarded his cars other components around the scenery.

Surpassing such a monumental damage bracket is surely an MRC record. And to bring the rolling scrap-heap home without registering a DNF is nothing short of miraculous...
