ArkAngel : “As the manager of our racing team I am glad to announce we have completed the Flipers Cup XI series . We hope that being a rookie ,Tim Richmond has made a good showing for all our sponsors , Xenturion Bank , Rempo automotive parts and the Powproc technology. As this was our first series I can say we did as we had anticipated to finish in the middle , especially since the other competitors were world rank and most in the top of their NR too. I was surprised that we did have 2 mechanical failures for 2 DNF's which after our analysis could have been caused racing at the very edge of a setup ,making the car go fastest. But that’s part of racing. And now our driver Tim Richmond will give his series recap”
Tim Richmond : “ This series was very exciting to have been involved in , the tracks had just the right amount of challenge to each one , and I am very glad to come in the standings as we have. And when we joined this series with such high caliber of European drivers we knew we had to work hard for every position in Qual and Race . We knew if we gave our best effort each time we would score points with our finishes. For this being our very first series and me a rookie , I can say I am happy for the points we scored. I hold no grudge for the 2 races I was swept up into other driver mistakes taking us out of those events because as I saw it from the cockpit it was just hard racing. Now it is time to challenge ourselves for better points finishes in the next series we participate in.”
