Bauer excited for Season 17

Excitement was prevalent in the camp of 22 year old American Michael Bauer as he and team manager ambauer88 make their first foray out of the familiar shores of F3 and into F2 competition. The team's hopes were bolstered by a top 10 finish in the Sprint portion of Week 1 in Mexico City and Bauer acknowledged that continued top 10 finishes were the goal.

"We have what we think is a good car, we are doing what we think is right from a training standpoint. If we keep doing as we've done in F3 there will be no reason we can't take home a top 10 each week and finish well in the points."

The young driver was noted earlier in his career for a fiery attitude and some splotches of anger when things didn't go his way, but has notably calmed in the last couple of seasons. Demonstrating much more patience through a stretch of DNF's last season that set back the team's points finish.

With a level head and some good results, the youngster should do well.
