Kuningas takes out V8 Supercars Title

The high-flying Fin, Tuevo Kuningas, has taken out the fourth V8 Supercar Championship crown in thrilling fashion at an extremely wet Homebush. The pacey European managed to pip his main rival, Floreal Dominguez to the title, having pulled away from the rest of the field quickly in the early part of the race, chasing down UK driver Jackson Storm in 1st. Dominguez was able to catch up mid-race, due to the safety car being deployed on the 40th lap. However, it was never enough, and Kuningas took 2nd in the race to secure his maiden V8 Supercar crown. He moves to the DTWS Series next season, where he will race against some of the finest drivers in Europe.
