Phil7 Motorsports has confirmed that driver Brooks Robinson will be leaving Stock Cars after three seasons in Trucks and one season in Silver to return to the Supercars series in Australia at the start of Season 65.

The 25 year old has been a cornerstone for the still new team, starting his career in the series at just 19, where he raced with fellow Canadian John Cannon in the series, gaining valuable experience alongside the veteran.

"This is an exciting chapter for Brooks and the team" said Team Principal Justin Morneau. "He has shown incredible growth over the last four seasons and we are thrilled to keep working alongside him as he returns to Supercars.

Robinson added, "This is a great new chapter for both myself and the team, I've loved every moment of my time racing in the Trucks and Silver series, but getting the chance to return to Supercars felt like the perfect next step after these years and I can't wait to challenge for a title this time!"

Justin Morneau was also asked about recently signed rookie "Derek Jacob" and his surprising move to Trucks, he said: "This move is about opportunity and strategy, and we have full confidence with the team and his crew to support him as best we can even through the next season."
