Unhappy chappy!

As we get closer to the halfway mark of this season, the young bloke Tobias R. Steegs isn't very happy with his recent performance.

After a great start in the Benelux series, where a top 10 spot in his first season came very close, he has been struggling in the last couple of weeks.
He dropped to 15th position, with a hard race coming up in Belgium on Spa-Francorchamps!
He qualified 10th, but even after a few very good qualifications, 6th place on Brands Hatch in England, the actual races were ones to quickly forget, and he fears for the race in Belgium.

We've asked Tobias for comments:

"Look, this is my first season, I know competition is fierce, but I know I can do it. The first 4 weeks were amazing, with a couple of top 10 spots. But all of a sudden it just feels like I have lost focus. I have been training hard, maybe a bit too hard. And I'm too eager, I want to go all out in the short races, which means I make a lot of mistakes, costing me a lot of places. And the long races, I just can't focus for such a long time. Let's hope for the best, plan for the worst!"

We've also asked his manager for a comment:

"Look he's a young kid, he's only 18. I think he's brilliant. He just wants to go all the time. He wants to improve. He wants to fight for every second. He's got a lot of potential, he just needs to believe in himself. I believe in him! Being ranked 15th in the Benelux series for a first season driver... FAIR DINKUM! I think that's amazing, and he's too harsh on himself!"

We think he's doing great, and we hope to see a lot more of him in the future!
