Criticism is welcome, but accusations are not

I think everyone has the right to question these changes and to have a different opinion. Healthy criticism is important, but there is a difference between criticising a decision and making accusations against people without any evidence. For this reason, I do not think the accusations made in your press release are fair or constructive.

I have said this many times, but it looks like I need to clarify it again. Although I am the largest shareholder of Porsche, I am not the team manager and I do not make decisions about how the team is run. I can participate in discussions and share my opinions, but that does not mean I control Porsche. I have even publicly disagreed with Clunker regarding his strategy. While I understand that tanking can sometimes be a strategically beneficial decision, it is not something I support or would choose to do.

I would also like to add that I don't agree with every single detail of these reforms. For example, I have some concerns about increasing tyre wear and adding more tyre sets, because changes like this can have unintended consequences if other parts of the system are not adjusted properly.

However, despite my concerns, I believe the game needs to evolve. There have been very few major changes in recent years, and if we never try anything new because we are waiting for everyone to agree, then nothing will ever change. It is impossible to create a proposal where every manager is completely satisfied.

I have been one of the biggest advocates of creating a more level playing field for years, and I have repeatedly argued that MRC should put more emphasis on technical and sporting decisions rather than financial optimisation. I do not expect these reforms alone to solve every issue, but I believe they could be a step in the right direction. Whether they will achieve the desired results is something we can only judge after giving them enough time and evaluating their effects over several seasons.

The important thing is that we focus on the actual effects of these changes rather than speculating about people's motives. If some aspects do not work as intended, they can be discussed and improved based on experience and results. That is how the game can continue to improve and evolve over time.

The latest news about the changes in F1 states that consultations were held with team representatives regarding these changes. I didn’t notice anyone consulting with me. I see only one thing: once again, changes have been made that were lobbied by Po...
