Challenging series for newcomers

Indy has never had the fame for being easy, but it's one thing to talk and another to participate. Our favorite driver is no exception for this challenge.
So far, his worst place in an official series was the 2nd place and he has been in some major ones like F3 and F2 Europe's series.
But all this is just paper in the new series. Let's have a word with the current 8th place:

Blazefp's Magazine: Good evening Francisco, every driver that goes through the Indy's series seems to come back with a completely different idea of formula racing. What's the difference between the other ones?

Francisco Pires: Good evening. Well to start off the competition is top class, really the best there is, so getting poles and high places is harder by nature.

Then there's the usual race mistakes. Not that I've been making much but even the smallest one seems to lead to crash too easily. I began thinking that maybe that was because I was too long in the race without stoping and started to get more pitstops per race but that didn't help much.

And finally there's the stupid mistakes. The first time we saw 8 sets of tires to use in just one race we were thrilled. We thought we could use them all on the training laps only counting with 2 sets for qualifications and 2 more for the race. But not all races take just 2 sets, in fact most take at least 3. So yeah, stupid mistakes.

BM: That's a lot indeed. No wonder many prefer the calm and steady Formula 2 and bellow. But was this what you were expecting?

FP: Definitely not. I know I say that almost every interview but it's the truth. This time though I was expecting better results.

BM: Interesting. What about new drivers? Which drivers are you expecting to succeed you and the other top drivers?

FP: There are indeed some drivers with enormous potential. Just to name a few: Paolo Grandi, Stanislaw Brun, Robert Kubica, Laimnesis Kauss (nice helmet btw) and another rookie outside Formula that seems to have a great potential. These seem to be the fastest ones under 23.

Four big names. Will they be able to follow the current top racers? Or are they going to crash down? Only time can tell.

This has been Blazefp's Magazine mid-season update, thanks very much for the preference.
