Cecil Engneering Driver Matt Cecil to debut in V8 Supercars

Cecil Engineering will run season 17 in the V8 Supercars with a rising talent in Matt Cecil. The team made the decision late last month to bring him up from F3 to race a Ford Falcon FG. While the team and Cecil know it will be a big challenge to build and develop their car to be competitive they both look forward to it. "I know it will be a challenge to start with and I don't expect good results straight away but hopefully in the future we can develop and eventually win races" stated Cecil over the upcoming series. Qualifying for race one will be on the 1st of February. Practice is currently underway with Cecil sitting 8th on debut at Adelaide in a V8 Supercar. The only other previous experience he has around Adelaide is In the F3 series in which he scored a top 10.
