Turbulent time for Fisher

The Racing Time

Michael Fisher has been having ups and downs for a while since we last spoke to the 21 year old, but the man is still confident of racking up podiums at least in the Rookie series.

Fisher has had some quite atonishing drives, gaining his first podium at Monza and generally putting in some fast performances. However, the last few races have has the same old story- Start off with a brilliant qualifiying session, and then retiring somewhere early on in the race. Despite this, the 21 year old is still confident he can shine at his next race in Russia.

We caught up with him at his last race at Moscow.

TRT: So Michael, we understand you have had some good times recently. What has been your best moment?

MF: My best moment has to be stepping onto the podium at Monza, which was a brilliant feeling.

TRT: What about recent events here at Moscow and the Euro-Ring?

MF: Those DNF's were a combination of car failures and driver error's. I am only young, and will try to fix these errors. But for now, i just have to keep racing.

Keep racing. That's what any young driver has to do. Keep racing.
