Ferrell Lackluster Return at Home Track

US Trophy XXIV landed in Austin, TX at the Circuit of the Americas for the 19 lap event. Ferrell had hoped for success at his home track in Texas, but things were bleak from the beginning with a qualifying position of 17th. The young driver capitalized on a few errors out in front for a finishing position of 15. The race was won by the excellent piloting of the Frenchman Antoine Ayrton Poucette. Ferrell will seek to give the home crowd something to cheer about today in the second race scheduled at COTA.
