Growing pains for "The Lip"

When he graduated from the rookie series to the main roster Louis "The Lip" expected there would be some growing pains and a learning curve. However he didn't expect the learning curve to be so sharp or the growing pains to be so painful. However two full seasons later, 189 total races and exactly 1 podium finish later he is learning the hard truth.

In only one race did he have a lead in that stretch for a total of 3 laps before he crashed. He was so angry at himself he took a swing at a garage door and cracked 2 knuckles in his hand.

Granted in his second year his top 10 and top 5 finishes doubled but for a man who is determined to be the best he can be a top 5 or top 10 will never be good enough for him. He wants victories. With a new season about to begin "The Lip" was very blunt about his expectations.

"I want for my (bleep, bleep) to start standing on victory lane again. My car is fantastic, my crew is fantastic. I just keep making too many (bleep, bleep, bleep) mistakes. They deserve better. I deserve better."

Next year The Lip is leaving the Russian series and plans on racing exclusively in the USA. He hopes the change of scenery means better results.
