After a series of tragic races which resulted in multiples DNFs, Tala Alcantara proves to all that she still deserves the monicker, "The Star" by winning where it really matters. The Star has won her Rookie Series debut at Sonoma Indy in a sensational fashion.

"It's really frustrating to lose due to mechanical failures but I just have to keep my faith in the team. After a few setbacks, we managed to make the right adjustments and score a big one at Sonoma Indy."

Tala Alcantara's next Rookie Series appearance will be at the iconic Silverstone circuit.
