Op de Slovakiaring heeft Raymond van de Pol de pole positie gepakt voor de eerste race in de A1GP. Onder zeer natte omstandigheden wist hij zijn auto optimaal te beheersen. dit resulteerde in een ruime voorsprong van een halve seconde op de nummer twee.

Hopelijk kan hij dit resultaat omzetten in een mooi race resultaat.
