Porsche Wins Driver's Title in Close Season!
Season 65 of Formula 1 in MRC has concluded and Andrej Vidmar is your Driver's Champion! The first of his career with 4 wins, a consistent 18 podium finishes as well as finishing every race this season in the points!
Teammate Luka Zakrajšek stayed strong despite unfortunate luck in some races, finishing 4th in the standings with 4 wins and 15 podium finishes of his own.
It was a close finish in the Constructor's Title with Porsche ultimately coming up short to rivals Red Bull in a title deciding race at Yas Marina. Porsche finished 27 points behind with their combined 8 wins and 33 podiums between the teammates Vidmar and Zakrajšek.
"We're very happy for Vidmar and expect him to be a perennial contender for the next couple seasons if he sticks with Porsche" A team representative mentioned, "We plan to run it back with Vidmar and Zakrajšek next season as we believe they are the best chance for us at reclaiming the Constructor's title."
