Kyle Busch Memorial Championship Now Open for Applicants!
To honour one of the greatest drivers of not only this generation, but of all time, we will be inviting all drivers to go through his most historic wins throughout his career in this one-time only championship!
The calendar will begin in Richmond, where he obtained his first professional NASCAR victory in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series at the Funai 250 on May 14, 2004. In 2018, Kyle also found himself at Richmond starting 39th and storming up to first, passing 20 cars in the first 30 laps for his 50th Cup Series victory.
The second race takes place at the Auto Club Speedway (Then the California Speedway) where he obtained his first career Cup Series victory at the Sony HD 500 onSeptember 4, 2005.
Our third race is at Bristol, where many feats happened for Kyle, first was the first win in a "Car of Tomorrow". The next was where he became the first driver in NASCAR history to sweep all 3 wins on a weekend at the Trucks, O'Reilly, and Cup Series', which he did twice in 2010 and 2017.
The fourth race finds the drivers at Daytona, which while Kyle unfortunately never had a Cup Series win there, he still made his moments like in 2012 at the Budweiser Shootout (Now known as the Clash) where he spun twice, but took minimal damage, willing himself to a victory.
Race five, six, and seven all go together, first is at Sonoma, in 2015 Kyle missed the first part of the season with a leg injury and after three months got his first win back at the Toyota/Save Mart 350. Next is at Indianapolis where Kyle won the Brickyard 400 in both 2015 and 2016. Finally, we are at Miami for the seventh race, where Kyle won both his Championships from 2015 and 2019.
The eighth race can be considered one of his most dominant wins, this one being his first career win at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte where he led 377 of the 400 laps in the race to secure it.
Ninth and tenth races are his final race victories in the Cup Series at the Enjoy Illinois 300 on June 4, 2023. Along with his 234th and final win across all three NASCAR series' at the 2026 Ecosave 200 at Dover on May 15, 2026, just six days before his unexpected passing.
This series will be free to join with no age or rating limits, just hoping to fill it out as much as possible, the series will start June 6, 2026 and feature one race per track.
