Jones unable to take Sandown crown

For Alan Jones' manager FlyingFinn, it was a special round. A home track, the team were looking for a good result after finally losing the streak of wins in Queensland.
Although Jones broke through for his first pole of the season, mistakes more than anything cost him both races of the Sandown round.
From manager FlyingFinn:
"We're obviously disappointed by this. We finally got pole for the sprint race and yet got 4th in the race. We pushed through and had 2nd by nearly 30 seconds in the feature race and was only 0.5 down when a safety car came out.
Alan showed his single lap speed, he got pole and 2 fastest laps, but we only got 30 points to our championship, and that is what we're not happy about."
When asked about the next round and what steps the team will take:
"Trade secret buddy ;)"
Next round is at Symmons Plains in Tasmania, a short, fast track that will surely excite.
