De tweede Race op de Nordschleife bracht voor Raymond van de Pol niet veel meer dan de 5e plaats. Maar toen kwam race 3. Hij Kwalificeerde zich hier heel mooi voor op de 3e plaats. Na een van zijn tegenstanders ingehaald te hebben lag hij sterk tweede. Toen de koploper uitviel in de laatste ronde werd hij plots de winnaar. Hij is zeer tevreden met dit onverwachte resultaat.
