Het was weer een mooi weekend op Monza voor Raymond van de Pol.
Het begon met een mooi slipstream gevecht wat door een safetycar helaas op de 4e plaats eindigde. Daarna kwam er een hele mooie overwinning. gevolgd door nog een derde plaats. Op naar de Slovakia ring waar hij nog het kwalificatie record heeft staan.
