First Official Race

Today, history was written for Scuderia 55 as our 23 year old Domenico Stivala made an impressive debut when participating in the Island Vincenzo Florio race under the Moto 3 category.

Having obtained the best 6th place in the grid in the qualifications, the team was confident that Domenico would obtain a good result. Before the race Domenico told the team that after a good qualification he would be please if he finishes in the top 10.

As the race took shape, Domenico always keep his hopes high as he was always defended his 6th place. Then on lap 42, with 5 laps to go he managed to overtake his opponents and was on the podium, but unfortunately on the last lap he was overtaken again and finished the race in 4th place.

It's true he was disappointed for losing the podium in the last few meters of the race, but at the end of the day Domenico was very happy with his first 13 points of his career.
