Lehdistötiedotteet - BobPG's Season 61 Review
BobPG's Season 61 Review
It's been an up and down season for me where I've had some great highs and some great lows.
First off, F4 International has been the home for Rodger Green this year and it's been a mixed bag. I'm very impressed with the fact we have 16 of 18 top 10 finishes. However it's concerning that only 3 of them ended up being top 5. Rodger looks set to finish 8th so not quite what we hoped for but it's only his 2nd season of racing and we're only just finishing developing personal skills.
Next is Nations Cup. The Kiwi Racing Association is rock bottom out of the points scorers but I honestly wasn't expecting anything. When you only have 2 young drivers carrying the whole country's weight then it's more for a bit of fun. Green has been pretty awful for the nation however scoring just 14 points of the 57. Thanks to goofball for scoring the most points for us this season. I'll try and get some better results next season ;)
Intercontinental Cup and Australian Drivers Championship have been the private series' that Rodger has fielded in for s61. Again just a bit of fun and for Rodger to gain more on track experience.
In terms of F1 it's been a decent season for WRT-Spyker with 51 points. There are still two Grands Prix left in Lusail, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, UAE. Hopefully this is a chance to get as many points as possible in what has been there first 50+ point season since season 40 when they were branded as German team Jägermeister Trabant F1 Racing Team. I wish that the team experience more success like this in the next seasons to come.
And finally, Apex Club Racing currently sit 9th in the Club Series standings. This has been my first racing club so it's been cool to have been part of a new journey both for the club and myself.
I will try and put in more effort next season as what I've done this season has been a little disappointing on my behalf but I've still enjoyed some success. Can't wait to race you all.
Best wishes for everyone.
