"The Lip" retires after 10 years"

"It is with a heavy heart that I must retire from racing after 10 years. I haven't seem any improvement in my driving. In fact I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. Pun partially intended."

With that announcement Louis "The Lip" Gagliano retired from racing. During the speech he talked about not being as passionate about this as he was when he first start and that without passion for something your simply running in place in life.

"Did I have fun doing this. For a long time I did. Now too many DNF have bothered me. It just isn't fun when crashes and mechanical failures end your days. So now the time has come to admit I don't have what it takes. It is time to find something new to be passionate about."
