Fixing a Bug

Most of you noticed problems on Sunday - we explain what happened...

WHAT HAPPENED

As you may know, DTWS series has undergone some changes, and DebiK is still adjusting things race by race.
One of these changes triggered a bug which prevented the DTWS series race on Sunday from happening and blocked other Season Series races from happening, as well as other game functions such as rating, training, etc.


CONSEQUENCES AND CURRENT STATUS

When DebiK started fixing it on Monday morning, some other unexpected things happened, such as races calculated twice with worn tyres and so on.

Those duplicated races, mainly Nations and Club Series ones, have been erased and recalculated as it was felt this was the fairest way. All the other functions are now working correctly and have been updated, such as prediction or rating.


As may you know MRC is not a game supported by a big business behind. Most of us volunteer our time to help get it better.
But sometimes these things can happen and the MRC Team in general and DebiK in particular try to react as quickly as possible.
