F3 season series are winnable for young drivers!

Early this season managers wrote few article chronicling the need for change in who is allowed in Season series for f3. My driver Tex Cobb entered at 21 with 988 rating. By everyone standards he would be ok in F3 major series. He was ranked 5th overall.

When the season started the only racing skills he had was 89 pace 92 race line. rest was personal skills. So not over skilled either. There was drivers well above him in both race skills age a rating! Today Sunday in the Final race in Africa he won his Race and season series! In this season series Tex finished every race and every race on the Poduim! He finished the season series With only the 3rd highest rating.

Point of all this is.. Do not get discouraged seeing older drivers with higher ratings. You will discover These drivers are still struggling to go around the track and stay in every race. But if you as a younger less rated driver is patient and run your race. You can still achieve great ratings gain. Win races and maybe a poduim overall . With some good luck even a championship! As for rating gain Tex gained over 500 rating points this season. No he will not be in any series below 1.0 now. It will hurt his rating! IMHO!
