Artis Atrumins Special

As you may know Porsche Racing has decided to honor our legend driver by organizing Artis Atrumins Farewell Tour. However, for his last race we have prepared one more surprise for him. Some of you might think this is over the top, but you have to understand what he meant for our team.

Back in season 21 when he agreed to sign for Porsche, only LKR and Ford had a lower rating. Nevertheless, his first season at Porsche was a great success. In his first race he has scored our first points with 6th place finish in Australia and by the end of the season he has scored 52. With Valtteri Sinisalo adding another 22 points it meant that Porsche Racing finished 8th in contractor’s championship. Next season he was joined by Floreal Dominguez and with few points less we have finished 9th. Even though we didn’t live up to our fullest potential in season 23 we were very happy with our result and even more so with our driver lineup. Unfortunately season 24 was very disappointing as we have only finished 10th. That season we just couldn’t convert good starting positions from qualifications into points. At that point both drivers could have moved to better teams, but they both stayed loyal and we value that a lot. In season 25 their loyalty was rewarded with good results. Atrumins managed to secure us our first podium with 2nd place in Australia and he even toped that with a win in China, few races later. Our best season to date has ended with cool 100 points for Artis and 174 points for Porsche. That was enough for 5th place in constructor’s championship. This season we have cemented ourselves as Top 8 and we hope the we can build on that in the future.
