TOYOTA GAZOO - Brazil Post Race
The race in São Paulo has concluded, and the results are quite the mixed bag for our drivers.
Driver Dmitry Starostachev II took home his third ever win in Formula One at the São Paulo circuit, giving the rookie the third most wins on the grid with only three races left to go on the season. His win can be accredited to both an excellent wet weather drive and an outstanding strategy from the Toyota team. Superior tyre strategy and the second-fastest pit-stop in the race rocketed him into first from his fifth place start.
Driver Michael Novikov had a turbulent start in São Paulo, exchanging places in the top ten fervently in the first few laps of the race, and unfortunately his vehicle was unable to keep up. Novikov's car experienced an irreparable engine failure and he was forced to retire on only lap 13 as the only DNF of the race. This, tragically, has severely damaged his hopes at a driver's world championship title.

There were quite a few ups and downs in Brazil for Toyota Gazoo Racing throughout the session, but we're still very happy to see our rookie driver put up such an outstanding performance. We hope to power forward into Las Vegas and put our season to bed on a high note throughout the last three races of the season.
