First of all - you sound fun at parties.

Secondly, thank you for saying that my butchering of names is not racism. I’d also add that good butchery is a great skill, even an art form. 

As to your demands to prove “Ubishi” is a real name: I need do no such thing. My driver’s name was reported; it’s now longer under investigation. The matter is already closed and it’s best to take your own advice and “get over it”.

Rules are great things, and the rule on naming drivers gives clear examples of what it is trying to guard against. I would also not want to have drivers with completely implausible names. Neither are any of my driver names offensive, even though as a British man I was taught smutty innuendos at elementary school.

There are drivers with surnames such as “Crash” and “Dastardly”… these are humorous names and not used outside of fiction. The people who run those drivers are not mocking the game and the results of those drivers speak for themselves. 

And there are some driver names on here from non-English speakers that aren’t real names in their respective languages. You don’t want to open that can of worms and turn the MRC world into one of Smiths vs Jones.
