A New Winner at Cleveland

After 10 races, Wais Vé Kuba finished every sprint race but hasn't finish a single feature race yet. Having taken his first podium at Denver, Wais was going to impress again.

Wais qualified 7th at the dry Cleveland Circuit but it was informed that it will rain. So yea, first wet race of the season, who's gonna be the king of the Wet at America?
Me? No way, I'm nowhere near in the champ, 200 points down for Rusty (champ leader), with Rick Diedrich profitting from last weekend and there you have young English Senastion Jackson Storm. With Giancinto impressing too. So I don't know what's gonna happen.


Today, Wais made a brilliant start jumping from 7th to 5th after the leaders Jackson Storm, Niels Hansen, Dan Hass all stayed on Slicks, which made Jackson pit for Wets and having to recover all the way back to where he needed to be.

Meanwhile back onto Wais, Wais decreasing the gap, all the time, got past Rick for 2nd place on Lap 4 at the homestaright, Wais knew victory could be his at one point.

On Lap 6, Wais started to fight Giacinto Pisani for the lead, Giacinto defended him brilliantly but on Lap 9, Wais stayed on the outside at Turn 1 but Giacinto pulled to the right to get him off the slipstream but Wais escaped from the spray at Turn 2 and made a brilliant overtake round the outside to take the lead. Wais wasn't challenged later on and held the lead to take what would be his first ever Racing Career win. He also took the fastest lap on the final lap giving him an extra point and another 2 points for the most laps led. This promotes Wais from 13th to 11th with a total of 222 points in the championship.
