Is The Rookie Series Hope Gone!?

Benjamin Lovell Snr. was in the news 23 days ago about his incredible Rookie Series turn around after a rather poor start. Yet many pundits believe that the 18 year old youngster doesn't have what it takes to finish in the top 50 this year.

With 402 points to his name and currently sitting in T100th place, people have lost all hope in the debut Rookie Series driver after he hasn't had a single top 10 finish since the Estonian races at the Audru Ring where the rookie driver looked in a very promising 54th position in the standings. However a lack of form in the recent races has caused the driver to drop down the table.

The driver has seemed to have qualified well in the Brazilian race at Orlando Moura circuit qualifying in a very respectable 11th. He will be looking for a great finish to his debut Rookie Series and maybe even end up in the money making spots.

Do people have faith in the young man? His manager certainly does, stating, 'I think Ben has all the chance in the world to finish in the top 50 rookie drivers. He has made a great debut, and I will be pleased to work with him for years to come and watch him rocket up the world standings. After one year of racing, Ben has improved dramatically and is almost into the top 100 drivers in his country and is within the top 1900 in the world. He has made great progress and I believe, if he is on form, he will have a great finish to this season's Rookie Series. It's his birthday in 3 days, and we will hope to be celebrating, not only for a great year, but also for his incredible perseverance and understanding of what it takes to become a great racing driver.'

We'll just have to wait and see the conclusion of this season's Rookie Series, and we may even find this driver in the top 50! Good luck to all the drivers and its a very close end to who will win this one.
