Amongst the world of racing Covid 19 has striken our sport as well. But The insanity of Texas motorsports finances this season has larger effect on Tex Cobbs career. Most would have just restarted. Hired a new driver and moved on. But we have Faith in Tex's ability to adapt and overcome any racing challenge set before him.
Tex seems to have a knack for finding speed in tracks that goes beyond his abilities and the capabilities of the cars he is driving. Tex is the number 6 point getter in Nations cup. That is great for any 25 year old. The team is still gathering data every race on the 2 new sets of dry tires. Hampered by the fact there are so many good drivers in USRA. he has had only 2 full seasons in His nations cup career. It will be along time before he gets another after this season.
His rating has been plummeting but his spirits remain high. He was given one mission since we hired Tex to keep the car on the track! Do not break the car! Tex has done this job better then any driver in his age group. So while many young drivers aspire for F1 glory. Once again Tex must just earn a ride. We believe it only a matter of Time!
