Tony Edelman Post Texas Press Conference

Q- Thank you for taking the time, Tony. Up until your late crash, you had a pretty solid race, working your way up to mid pack before your wreck.

A- yeah, it was a pretty good race. There was a lot of good, close racing from about 10th back.There always is. I would have loved to maybe pick up a few more spots, but I guess I ran out of talent.

Q- Prior to this race ,you were 5th in points. Do you foresee your getting back up there?

A- Perhaps. IT's really tight all over the standings all over so I can't really say. You never know when you or the guy ahead of you slips up and wrecks or blows an engine. I'd like to say yes. I know we could. Other than today, we have been running consistent. I just hope this is a one off thing.

Q- During the race, there was a lot of contact, some of it involving yourself. Care to comment on it?

A- Not particularly. Like I said, there's a lot of close, hard racing. Normally, I'm ahead of where it's most intense, but I had messed up my qualifying and stuck myself in a spot where we're racing the crap out of each other. It's hard racing but you can't have any hard feelings when a mistake happens and it's bound to.
