Melbourne Race Recap – A Wet and Challenging Start to Season 61

The opening round of the season in Melbourne was anything but easy. In treacherous heavy rain conditions, overtaking proved extremely difficult, and despite our best efforts, we couldn't make the gains we aimed for.

The race was ultimately won by Ferrari’s Michael Novikov, who mastered the wet conditions from pole to take a commanding victory.

While not the start we hoped for, the season is long and we're already focused on bouncing back stronger in the next round in Shanghai, China. The team remains united and determined and the fight for the championship has only just begun.
