Erik Rosberg stormed to pole position in Shanghai for Round 2 of the Formula 1 season, delivering a stunning result for the Scuderia!

Erik Rosberg:
"Taking pole in Formula 1 is always special, but doing it with Ferrari? That’s pure magic. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget. We expected to qualify around 7th or 8th today, so this was a fantastic surprise for all of us."

Teammate Craig Gardner showed strong pace throughout the session, but a small mistake in Q3 will see him start from P9 on the grid.

Craig Gardner – 9th
