Short Track Driver Makes Debut

Making his professional debut at Port au Prince, 20-year old Randall Maddox, a former short/dirt track driver, shocked the assembled crowd by turning a 13th qualifying position into a 10th place finish. Asked for comments after the race, Mr. Maddox stated "Only thing cooler than this is Nascar. I'm happier than a bear in a honey shop and I'll only get better!" We can only hope so.
