ChileTour - An invitation to all drivers
To all drivers in the world, we wish a good day, afternoon or evening.
We in the Chilean Motorsport Federation hereby extend an invitation to all interested drivers for a trip down to Chile for the inaugural ChileTour, a racing series that will hopefully see drivers from all over the world come to the long and narrow strip of land we call a home to compete in races that will take place from the north of our country, near the arid Atacama Desert, to the city and finally the cold weather of the Strait of Magellan.
18 races, spanning a variety of weathers, going from north to south in a tour of the country in what we hope will be an exciting and competitive championship between some of the world's best.
We begin our itinerary in Arica, the northernmost city of the country, which will hold the first two races, with the first one at the track of the Autódromo Sergio Santander Benavente and the second one at the Costanera San Martín de Arica street track.
The championship will continue at the Autódromo Bernardo O'Higgins track of Alto Hospicio, near the city of Iquique.
Following that, we move south to Antofagasta, near the mining heartland of the country, where its Autódromo Roca Roja will host the drivers for one of the longest races of the calendar.
After that, races will be held at the conurbation of Greater La Serena, where the cities of La Serena and Coquimbo will host races at the Huachalalume track and at La Pampilla, respectively.
We will move further south for the seventh race, going to San Antonio, home to the country's main port and to the Autódromo Internacional de San Antonio.
The eighth race will not move too far away from there, as it will take place at the Autódromo de Peñuelas, also located in the Valparaíso Region. The same region will host the ninth race at the Autódromo Villa Olímpica in Quilpué.
It is after that that we begin the second half of the championship at the layout that once hosted Formula E, the Santiago Street Circuit, on the streets of the capital city. The eleventh race will be in another FE layout at the capital, the Parque O'Higgins circuit.
Further south, near the limits of Santiago, the twelfth race will be held at the circuit of Las Vizcachas, in its long layout.

Moving out of the Metropolitan Region, for the thirteenth race our itinerary moves to the Autódromo Internacional de Codegua, one of the country's premier circuits.
We take a long trip south, moving to the Bío-Bío Region for the fourteenth race, to be held at the Autódromo de Cabrero in one of the shortest circuits of the calendar.
It is near the milennia-old araucarias that we will hold the fifteenth race at the Autódromo Interlomas, located in the historical region of Araucanía, home to Chile's largest indigenous group, the Mapuche people.
The sixteenth race will be held slightly to the south, at the Autódromo Vegas de Quilaco in the Los Ríos region, with the seventeenth not far from there, at the Autódromo Alto Bonito near the city of Puerto Montt.
We will end our trip through the country at the eighteenth race, to be held at the Autódromo Cabo Negro, near Punta Arenas and the cold weather of the Strait of Magellan.
We hope to see you there.
