Paziņojumi presei - Massey takes shock British F3 Lead

Massey takes shock British F3 Lead

The British F3 Paddock welcomes a new winner into the record books today, as young hopeful Jack Massey rose to take his first F3 win among his rivals' misfortunes.

The young British driver stood atop the podium for the first time, following on from his maiden pole in Gibraltar last season, and profited from a late error by Ian Terim, who spun out after an otherwise accomplished drive in the rain.

Mistakes in tyre choice from title hopeful Dave Hamilton also mean that Massey has taken the lead in the title race by 3 points - something unexpected so early in his career, but proof that consistency is key following a string of strong finishes.

Massey will now hope his undoubted potential proves enough to compete for an unlikely first title, stating "There's a long way left to go this year, but the car has stayed reliable this far and I'm learning all the time. Ian and Dave have been a step ahead all year, but never say never."
