Persberichten - Santini Tops Podium

Jiago Santini continues to show he's a gathering force, winning the June 4th Rookie Series on the Imola Ciicuit.  The American rider started 7th, took the lead on lap 20 and never looked back, eventually building a 12.5 second cushion.  

"To get my first win in Italy is special", Jiago said, "I had a great-great uncle from San Remo.  Hopefully the Santini name still means something there, if folks forgot maybe this will be a reminder!"  
 

The next race is June 6th at the same circuit and JIago knows he's the bullseye.   "I saw this last season with Ohio State Football, everyone wanted to beat the champ.  I'm gonna have to watch my back, and keep my eyes forward!"
