TOYOTA GAZOO - Mexico Post Race

The Mexican Grand Prix at Autodrómo Hermano Rodríguez has drawn to a close, and despite some turbulence we're quite happy with the results garnered.

Driver Michael Novikov brought home an incredible P1 result from his P4 start on the grid, beating out two of his championship rivals in a harrowing performance this Wednesday. This marks his fourth win on the season, and his 41st career victory in Formula 1, officially tying him at third for the most ever.

Driver Dmitry Starostachev II pulled an impressive pole position during qualifying, his fifth time doing so in his rookie season so far, and was battling for podium for a majority of the race. Unfortunately, his tyre strategy was compromised in relation to a private incident currently under investigation, and he fell to P16.

Overall, our session in Mexico served as an excellent way to bounce back into form from Austin, and we plan to carry this momentum into São Paulo.
