Germain Battles to P2 in Chaotic Singapore – Championship Lead Grows

Yesterday’s Singapore Grand Prix delivered one of the most unpredictable and demanding races of the season, as rapidly changing weather conditions turned the Marina Bay circuit into a strategic minefield.

With the rain coming and going, teams were forced into as many as 4–5 pit stops, including a remarkable sequence where drivers pitted for dry tyres, then intermediates, and immediately again for full wets in the span of just a few laps. It was a true test of adaptability, focus, and tire management.

Through the chaos, Germain delivered a composed and relentless drive, navigating the changing conditions with skill. He fought hard all the way to the final lap but ultimately finished 2nd, narrowly missing out on the win behind Ferrari’s Michael Novikov, who defended brilliantly in the closing moments.

Crucially, championship rival Zakrajsek finished 5th, allowing Germain to extend his Drivers’ Championship lead to 13 points.

In the Constructors’ standings, Red Bull now leads Porsche by 41 points, with just a few rounds remaining in this thrilling title fight.

The championship pressure is rising, but this team continues to rise with it.
