"The Lip" at the end of Season 18

It was the end of the season for the team. The team was celebrating and throwing a party. In the corner I could see the driver Louis "The Lip" Gagliano sitting in a corner with his personal assistant Mallory Laurie. I got near enough to the pair to overhear the following conversation,

Louis: "I knew that there would be a period of adjustment but sometimes I feel like I'm spinning my wheels here...no pun intended. I would have thought I would have won at least one major race by now."

Mallory: "But you are improving Louis. Look, you went from 8 top 5 finishes in season 17 to 30, more than quadrupling your success. You also had 13 podium finishes this year when you only had one the season before. Your DNF's dropped dramatically which considering your breakneck style is pretty amazing. Your getting better, more seasoned. You might just be on the cusp of getting over the victory hump. Don't give up now."

I saw "The Lip" look up with a weak smile and he joked," You should have been a cheerleader." to which the lovely assistant replied," Actually, in school I was."
