Cashmere Cooper, better known mononymed as Cashmere, was asked after the qualifying rounds for a Formula 4 single race 'round the Miami Autodrome, about his driver, Blake Bannister. "He performed well, especially at his level. He has a lot to learn, and I'm glad he showed his potential by out-qualifying two or three guys who've been racing longer than Blake", said the manager. Bannister had managed to maintain a +3 second gap between himself and the pole, making only minor mistakes on Turns 3 and 18. The racer himself, however, had other things to say. "I held pole at one point, then Annika [Emerson] came in and bombed my time by like, 2 seconds. Then it was Kimi [Rosberg] and Harry [Covert Jr.]. I was bettered today by many of the guys, but I'm proud that I made Q2 my first quali ever, and I'm going to take this as a lesson."
