Your Road to Formula 1 Starts with Porsche!
A New Season Underway:
It has been apparent that Porsche is taking a small step back for Season 67 in hopes of getting prepared for the new engine cycle in the future! That being said, they are still rolling with some of the best featuring a lineup of former F1 Driver's Champion Luka Zakrajšek and perennial F1 driver and two-time Indy champion Aljaž Zupančič!
"We are happy to have these two in the lineup" A team representative mentioned, "Everytime the team watches them get into the car they feel we have a chance to win."
Season 68 and onward:
It was announced recently that former Driver's Champion Andrej Vidmar and Season 67 rookie Mitja Prevodnik have signed a contract to race for the Porsche F1 team for Season 68! The team did not disclose how long the contracts would be but fans hope they can stick around for many seasons to come. Both drivers are currently under contract at McLaren on one season deals which were signed in the offseason.
Other announcements:
The biggest announcement for Porsche Racing is the return of the Porsche Driver Academy! In the chart below is a sample of the returned academy featuring some newcomers and veterans on the track!
