Mid season woes for Moffat

It has been a bumpy ride for Allan Moffat in the Aussie F3 Series with a string of lows, followed by a welcoming high

As the Aussie F3 Season had passed the 1/4 mark, Moffat's luck took a turn for the worst; crashing in the feature race at Phillip Island, gone without points at Sydney Motorsport Park and missing the top 20 in the sprint race at Ipswich.

But that wasn't going to stop the young driver from pushing towards the front, and in the feature Ipswich race, he was able to score a well-deserved podium finish.

Jimmer: "Allan was really disappointed with what happened mid season, but like a soldier in the midst of battle, he stuck with it and his persistence paid off."

Currently 3rd in the standings with 98 points (64 points behind 1st place), Moffat is still within a chance of this series as it heads to Sandown for Round 6 of the Aussie F3 Series.
