Rookie Tiano Struggles Continue

Todays North American Qualifying from Austin, Texas, ended with Mike Tiano near the bottom of the time sheets. The team did not practice early in the weekend. The cause being a mix up in building there Honda powered Dallara. The team looks to improve upon what was learned in qualifying. Tiano had this to say,

"This weekend has not started as we would expect. Not receiving all components for the car really put us way behind the other competitors. We hope to move up the field during the race but will struggle to move to the front."

Tiano was 4+ second behind the pole sitter. A podium position is almost out of the question but a top 10 may be possible with some luck.

A positive for the team happened today when MRC Magazine signed on with NAN Motorsports for 8 races. The contract is rumored to be worth 100K. These funds will hopefully bring some positive energy to the struggling team.
