It was a rare sight to see Lyn's purple car being dragged back to the pits after the engine failed at the 18th lap. The Dutch driver was forced to watch from the sidelines as the other drivers finished the race.

We met up with her after the prize ceremony. "It's always disappointing when you can't finish a race." Lyn told the press. "But it's part of the sport. I'll get over it."

When asked about Freiverts win, Lyn said the following. "Marcis did a great job to win against a strong field of drivers. I wish I could keep up with him."

It wasn't long before the topic changed to Rage and Lyn's pre-season challenge. "Hah. Oh well. You know, I was just having a bit of fun. I really did want to beat all four of them. But I was just too inconsistent. All credit goes to Nick and Drummont, I think the both of them can be very proud of this result. All five of us know that this isn't going to be the last time that we'll be racing each other. So this is hardly the final battle. I'm looking forward to the next one. And maybe then I'll break the curse and win a race."

"I really do get along with everyone in Rage." Lyn continued to explain. "I want to beat them because I respect them. I think that's about as great a compliment as you can receive in this sport, right?"
