1st weekend of racing mixed bag

One of the newest rookies on the Rookie circuit Louis "The Lip" Gagliano had what he called a "mixed bag" of success at his first weekend of racing at Kyalami. First he was able to qualify in the middle of the pack for the sprint race in which he finished 6th. This gave him the confidence to run all out in the main even. At one point he even managed to get the lead for a few laps but his aggressive style came back to "bite my butt" In the end he finished near the back of the pack after a blown tire.

I can see I have to speed up, no pun intended, my learning curve. Again no pun intended. I'm going to have to strategize better in the future races. At least I think my crew is a good one. At least I have youth on my side (he's only 18) so I can afford to make some errors
